Partnership with Lindström: how workwear gets a second life

Responsible approach to textile waste

Every day, employees across various industries use thousands of units of workwear.
But what happens to this textile once it reaches the end of its lifecycle?

Lindström, an international service company specializing in workwear rental, has launched a systematic program for recycling used workwear. To implement this project, the company chose Re:inventex — a reliable partner and an officially licensed textile recycling operator in Ukraine.

A partnership for the Environment

The joint project Lindström × Re:inventex began in 2025. Each month, Lindström transfers more than 4,000 kg of used textiles for recycling, and by 2026, the company plans to increase this share to 80% of all discarded workwear.

The goal of the partnership is to keep textiles in circular use for as long as possible, reducing environmental impact and fostering the development of a circular economy in Ukraine.

How it works

Re:inventex has developed a comprehensive system for responsible textile waste management that allows companies to:

  • transfer textiles for legal and sustainable recycling,

  • receive official recycling reports and certificates,

  • ensure control and transparency at every stage of cooperation.

Our technological base meets European standards, and all recycling processes are carried out on modern equipment from leading European manufacturers.

Partner’s experience

“These are our first steps in working with a partner in textile recycling, and the experience has already been extremely positive. From the very first day, the Re:inventex team demonstrated professionalism, responsibility, and openness to dialogue. Agreements are fulfilled on time and with quality — this builds trust. We particularly value transparent communication, the joint search for optimal solutions, and a shared focus on sustainability. For us, this is an important step in achieving the company’s global environmental goals, and we are confident that many successful projects lie ahead.” — Maksym Shulhin, Head of Production, Lindström Ukraine.

Shared values

Lindström is a socially responsible business committed to reducing its environmental impact. Together with Re:inventex, the company:

  • reduces the amount of textile waste,

  • returns used textiles into production cycles,

  • lowers its carbon footprint,

  • upholds corporate sustainability standards.

Re:inventex shares these values — ensuring transparent reporting, regulatory compliance, and consulting support throughout the recycling process. This guarantees that used workwear does not end up in landfills but instead enters a responsible recycling cycle, becoming part of new sustainable materials — such as eco tote bags made from recycled textiles.

What it means for Lindström clients

The company’s sustainable workwear rental service now includes complete maintenance and responsible end-of-life management.
Through cooperation with Re:inventex, every client receives:

  • regular reports showing recycling rates,

  • reduced environmental impact across their supply chain,

  • an opportunity to contribute to the development of Ukraine’s circular economy.

Changing the system together

The partnership Lindström × Re:inventex demonstrates how business can combine economic efficiency with environmental responsibility. Each step is a contribution to a cleaner environment, transparent business practices, and a circular future.
