Re:inventex — the first company in Ukraine fully licensed to process textile waste

LLC "Re:inventex" is officially authorized to carry out the full cycle of textile waste processing operations, including recycling.
This license enables us to accept textile waste from enterprises and process it in accordance with European standards.

This official authorization is a key advantage that confirms our status as a certified recycler and allows us to provide environmentally safe and legally regulated textile waste processing.
We have scaled our production capacity to process over 3,500 tonnes of textile waste per year, enabling us to operate systematically, transparently, and in full compliance with current legislation — with comprehensive support for our partners.

What Does This Mean in Practice?

We offer textile waste recycling in line with officially regulated procedures that comply with the Law of Ukraine "On Waste Management". This enables us to deliver services that meet European standards.
We use mechanical processing methods that preserve the fiber structure, making the materials suitable for reuse in production.

Our operations are fully integrated into the national waste management system, ensuring complete transparency and traceability.
This is essential as we aim to build an environmentally responsible business model aligned with the goals of sustainable development.

Driving Circular Change in the Ukrainian Textile Industry

While we already actively recycle textile waste, we also initiate improvements in national waste management policy.
Currently, disposal is still the most common and accessible waste treatment method in Ukraine, but this contradicts the principles of the European circular economy — which prioritizes prevention, reuse, and recycling.

We are working to submit policy proposals to relevant government bodies to revise the regulatory approach to textile waste and create incentives for recycling.
We call on all industry stakeholders, associations, and responsible brands to support these initiatives and help reform legislation to enable Ukrainian businesses to meet EU sustainability standards.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Ukrainian Association of Light Industry (Ukrlegprom) for their long-standing efforts in advocating for circular economy principles and responsible manufacturing, and for facilitating cooperation with EURATEX to help implement European standards in Ukraine.
Special thanks also to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration for supporting the development of stable textile recycling infrastructure under today’s challenging conditions.

These institutions have been the catalysts for change — initiating regulatory shifts, supporting systemic transformation, and laying the foundation for a transparent model of textile waste handling.
Their role has been instrumental in coordinating efforts, consistently advocating for reforms, and creating conditions for implementing practices aligned with the European vision of sustainable development.
