May with Re:inventex: Supporting the Transformation of the Textile Industry at Every Level

In May 2025, the Re:inventex team took part in two key events that reflect our strategic vision — to drive the transformation of the textile industry through practical solutions for businesses and investments in the education of a new generation.

From production facilities in Chernihiv to educational hubs in Lutsk, we continue to strengthen partnerships, spread knowledge about the circular economy, and implement solutions that already work in practice.

Circular Economy in Action: Solutions for the Light Industry in Chernihiv Region

At an industry meeting held as part of the Chernihiv Region 2.0 initiative, hosted by PJSC Chernihiv Sewing Factory "Elegant", Re:inventex presented:

  • the first results of a pilot project on textile waste recycling in the region;
  • an analytical overview of EU regulations (ESPR, EPR, DPP) and their implications for Ukrainian manufacturers;
  • a service model for certified textile waste recycling tailored to the needs of local enterprises.

We believe the circular economy is not a distant concept — it is a tangible reality already taking shape, even under the pressures of war. Our solutions help companies remain competitive and responsible in challenging conditions.

TEX4YUA in Lutsk: Empowering a Sustainable Textile Future through Education

Another significant event was the Lutsk Youth Textile Forum, held within the framework of the international project TEX4YUA. In collaboration with Ukrainian and European universities, Re:inventex contributed to shaping a new generation of responsible textile professionals.

During the forum, Re:inventex:

  • delivered a presentation on EU ecodesign regulations and the Digital Product Passport;
  • emphasized the importance of transparency, reuse, and environmentally conscious design;
  • supported cross-sector dialogue between education, business, and tradition — with a focus on innovation, energy efficiency, and cultural identity in textile design.

Special attention was given to young professionals: students presented sustainable fashion concepts, explored local textile heritage, and visited cutting-edge university labs.

A Mission That Connects

These two events reaffirm a simple truth: sustainable development in the textile industry is only possible through joint efforts from business, education, expert communities, and regional initiatives.

Re:inventex remains committed to fostering this synergy — through education, service-based solutions, and open dialogue with those shaping the future today.

Re:inventex is the first company in Ukraine officially licensed to process textile waste. We provide solutions that empower businesses to operate responsibly — and support young professionals in building a new, sustainable textile ecosystem.
